Drilling & CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT

We offer construction support to our clients to allow the safe installation of offshore assets. These activities depend upon precise surface and subsea positioning data and accurate data regarding surface and subsurface assets. Oceanscope Services is vastly experienced at performing construction support services for our clients and can help to complete a project on time, in budget and with safe operations.

During construction, support activities such as pipe lay and jacket installation, we can provide a Tug Management System (TMS) on our client’s barges. The system is mobilized onto anchor handling vessels allowing the vessel position, speed and direction to be monitored from the main barge or rig during the activity. Commands for anchor deployment and recovery are also relayed through this system.

For the accurate measurement of position and orientation of surface vessels, we operate numerous systems from the world’s leading manufacturers. Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) are used in combination with high grade GNSS receivers to deliver reliable, high quality and precise data in the field.
